What is African dance?
All African dance is made up of polyrhythms, a rhythm that uses two or more different rhythms simultaneously. Many African cultures use dance as a form of healing and connection.
The psychology of dance highlights the role of dance in strengthening the brain-body connection and engaging the brainβs emotional center, aiding in processing and releasing emotions.
What is Vinyasa yoga?
Also known as βFlowβ yoga, it seamlessly uses the breath to move from one yoga posture to the next. It focuses on bringing harmony between the mind and body.
Services offered per session:
Interactive group sessions blend rhythmic African dance with yoga postures and mindful breathing + Talk and Discussion. Settings include offices, classrooms, auditoriums, etc.
Participants are educated on valuable health tips and tools to enhance their understanding of the physical body. The philosophy of Acting Mindfully (staying present in thoughts, words, and actions) is also shared to apply this learning in daily life.
